I submitted a request to increase my connected athlete limit weeks ago. This app supports the cycling community at large through showing weather on routes and ride coordination, but has a strong focus on charity cycling teams. Check it out here: https://velovate.app/
I've sent more than 10 requests in the last few months, I've never received a response and they've never increased my credit limit.
Hi Strava team,I'm requesting production access for my application.App name: Rozhýbme sa s Dôverou 2026Client ID: 23702Category: VisualizerWebsite: https://principleguy.com/rozhybme-sa-s-doverou/stravaWhat it does: Displays a club leaderboard for a corporate fitness challenge. It aggregates activity hours from club members and shows a ranked leaderboard with weekly/monthly progress tracking. Why I need it: We have ~300 participants across multiple Strava clubs (Hobby & Profi). Currently stuck on 1-athlete limit (Single Player Mode), so new users can't connect via OAuth. The app only reads club data and athlete activity summaries — no write operations, no data sharing with third parties. Fully compliant with Strava API Agreement and Brand Guidelines.Thank you for your help!

It is very common in sports that heart rate zones in running are a bit higher than in cycling. I would really like to setup different heart rate zones for Cycling & Running!
Hi Strava team,I'm requesting production access for my application "Performance Load Optimizer" (Client ID: 209858).I have submitted my application via the standard review form multiple times, most recently on April 21, 2026, including all requested clarifications regarding AI/data usage and screenshots of every page where Strava data is displayed. Hello Strava API Team,I would like to request guidance regarding Production Access / athlete capacity review for my app.App name: Rule9Website: https://rule9.bikeClient ID: 229136Rule9 is a cycling route weather analysis app. It connects a cyclist’s planned Strava route with point-by-point weather data, including wind, temperature, precipitation probability, and elevation context. The goal is to help cyclists decide whether planned riding conditions are safe and suitable before heading out.The app currently appears to be in Single Player Mode. The API dashboard shows that only 1 athlete is allowed to connect, and 1 athlete is already connected. Because of this, other users cannot test or use the Strava integration.Rule9 uses Strava route data only for the authenticated athlete. No Strava data is sold, shared with third parties, or used to train AI or machine learning models.I will also submit the official Developer Program / athlete capacity review form linked in the Strava API documen
Hi Strava API Team!I submitted an API rate limit increase request back on April 18th, but haven't heard back yet (well past the 7-10 business day guidance). I also followed up via email on April 30th. My application (Client ID: 216153) creates custom map art for activities, which users can then order printed and framed. We are looking to expand from individuals to run clubs and events, but are heavily reliant on a manual input workaround right now. It would be amazing to get our capacity unlocked so we can provide a seamless Strava-connected experience for athletes. Our full website url is in the application.Could someone from the team please help look into this? Any help to escalate this review would be highly appreciated! Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Thank you!
Hi all, ive been coding a few apps recently to test what sort of use i can make of the api data and oath has previously worked for all of them. Now, when i go to initiate oath i get “ {"message":"Bad Request","errors":[{"resource":"Application","field":"client_id","code":"invalid"}]}”when i know for certain that my .env file hasnt changed and even in new apps i have definitely copied it correctly. Any suggestions on next steps? Client id: “232161”thanks.
When I go to the API Playground and try to AUTHORIZE, I get the following error:{"message":"Bad Request","errors":[{"resource":"Application","field":"redirect_uri","code":"invalid"}]} Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Hi Strava developers,I've built a small private web app for myself and a few friends — three of us currently but possibility of it being five of us in total — training together for the Great South Run on 18 October 2026. The app pulls our run telemetry from Strava (activity:read_all scope) so we can share a leaderboard, track each other's training, and run a small team campaign over the 25-week build-up.I'm hitting the default 1-athlete limit on my application — I've connected, but my squad-mates get the "limit of connected athletes exceeded" error when they try to authorise.Could I please request an increase to 5 connected athletes?Quick context for the request:App name: GSR Showdown Client ID: 229579 Use case: read-only consumption of our own activities (filtered to Run / TrailRun / VirtualRun) plus per-second streams for HIIT sprint detection Volume: 5–7 activities/week per user → roughly 20 stream calls/week and well within current rate limits Scope: purely personal project, no pla

Hello everyone! My name is Paulo, and I work as a data engineer. Recently, I’ve been studying multi-agent workflows (AI), and I decided to start a new personal project alled PathFinderAI ((GitHub Repo)[https://github.com/messerzen/PathFinderAI/tree/main]) to apply what I’ve been learning. As a bike enthusiast, my first idea was to build a tool to suggest routes. The motivation came from a recurring situation: every Friday, my friends and I decide on the weekend ride — “Which route are we going to ride tomorrow?”We usually prefer to ride early in the morning so we can attend to our commitments later in the day. Quite often, we have constraints like: “I need to be home by 10 AM” or “I had a tough week, so let’s do an easier ride tomorrow.”Even though we have a fairly large “menu” of routes we already know, it’s not always easy to choose the best one considering constraints like time, fatigue, or whether we want a big climb or a flatter ride. Based on this, I decided to create this project
Hi Strava Developer Team and Community,I'm building a personal accountability app called RunStreaks that helps runners maintain daily running streaks. After reviewing the November 2024 API policy updates and the feedback on my initial submission, I've made significant changes to ensure compliance. Before I resubmit, I wanted to open it up for public review and get some feedback from this community. Here's the live site: https://runstreaks.io I'm the only runner on there right now, but you can see the concept. I've done my best to remove literally everything possible to stay compliant while still maintaining the core idea in its most minimal form. I've worked pretty hard on this app, and I don't want to do another submission just to get rejected again. So I was hoping I could get some honest feedback before I make any final changes and resubmit. What I've already removed from public view:All activity details (distance, pace, time, elevation, etc.) Best efforts and personal records Activity
