Route builder toggle

I subscribe to Strava primarily because I enjoy the route builder. That alone makes it worth the monthly cost. But I have to say, I HATE the little picture bubbles all over the map. When im creating a route, I want to see the roads only. Every little intersection that im interested in has someone else picture blocking the view. This is enough of an annoyance that I am considering cancelling the subscription and just moving over to RGPS. 

Could you please just make some kind of toggle or something so we can close those pictures? What even is the point??

Also…. I must add, your customer support, for subscribers, is atrocious. Seriously….
