Hi all,

It's possible via API obtain the components of a determinate equipement? In API Reference we can obtain component info by:

GET /gear/{id}

but it does not return components info 😓:

{ "id" : "b1231", "primary" : false, "resource_state" : 3, "distance" : 388206, "brand_name" : "BMC", "model_name" : "Teammachine", "frame_type" : 3, "description" : "My Bike." }

I would say if it isn't in the reference then it isn't possible. But maybe someone can add this feature 🙂

This feature would be wonderful! @Strava API team, please, is it possible to add it?

Hi,

I was wondering if a couple of components could be added to the list of bike components.
1. Bottom bracket 2. chainrings (best if you ad big chainring and smal chainring separately as people replace them separately)

At this moment you can only select crankset.

Thanks already

You are in the wrong thread for your wish but anyway: Both component types exist already:

Oh sorry for posting this in the wrong tread but this option is not available in Dutch. We’re do I need to comment to reach out to the developers to add this function to Dutch language as well?

There shouldn’t be any functional differences between languages, but you can always switch in the browser to English on the dashboard page:

By the way, when I switch to Nederlands language these components are there but I don’t know if the translations are correct:

Thanks for all the help, but there is a difference between the languages. Gues I’ll use the englisch version from now on. Hope this gets added to the dutch version sometime soon.
Don’t know were to post the problem. In case a developer reads this.
components that need to be added (dutch name)

  1. trap as
  2. kettingbladen
