We’re not too near to our api limits, but do get close sometimes. Our system is only interested in activities or types of Swim, Bike, Run, or Walking. I don’t think I’ve seen anything, but I was wondering if there was a way to stop Strava webhook from sending e.g. Skiing activities/Paddle Boarding. As querying those only wastes our api limits.

There was a request made to add activity type to the webhook about a year ago.
At least for now, you're stuck querying every event. I recommend adding your input to the above topic to give another example of a use case and more support for the idea

+1Shame. What we receive through our Garmin webhook is all the data that we need. Never need to query an activity. Date, type, start location coords, distance, overall activity time.
