Hey, I have an issue that started after the 26th April..

I did a zwift ride on Monday 28th, a workout today 29th, and none are loading into Strava. I use a Tracx smart trainer and Zwift on my Windows laptop.

  • Last recorded activity that uploaded successfully was my Saturday 26th ride from my Garmin watch, and it synced to Strava.
  • My Zwift ride is in Zwift and in my Garmin Connect app as an activity.
  • My workout today was recorded on my Garmin watch and is in the Garmin Connect app as an activity.
  • Both devices are synced and added to my Strava app. I did the steps to disconnect and reconnect all devices and they show as ‘Connected Apps’.
  • In my Strava account, the Partner Integrations shows Zwift is enabled.
  • Under Social Connections, it shows that Garmin Connect is connected.
  • In Zwift the Strava and Garmin apps are ‘paired’
  • I use Android and Windows devices, not Apple.
  • As a side note, my SRAM AXS app also reports these activities.

Any assistance would be greatly welcomed.

Hey @Karlati,

If your activity has not appeared in your Strava account, can you try to upload it manually?

Uploading from a computer:

Navigate to my.Zwift.com
Click MyActivities
Find your missing activity and click download. You will see a ZIP file.
Navigate to https://www.strava.com/upload/select
Click 'Choose File' and select the ZIP file

Uploading from a mobile device (requires iOS10 and cloud storage service (iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive):

Navigate to my.Zwift.com in a mobile browser.
Log into your Zwift account
Click the 'Download' link under your missing activity.
A screen will appear to save the file - save file to your preferred cloud based service.
Open new Chrome tab and navigate to Strava.com
Then navigate to https://www.strava.com/upload/select
Click the 'Choose file' link
Choose the cloud service you saved the file to and upload the file

Hey @KBryant24.

I appreciate your reply and for providing those details. I did go through those as suggested and uploaded the activity. So thanks again.

Today I hit the trails and recorded a ride with the Garmin watch. Would you believe it uploaded as expected. Go figure.

All seems to be working now, but thanks again for your help.

🤠

Whenever I’ve had Garmin sync issues I have found a few things that help

  1. Wait as there could just be a delay at Garmin
  2. Record a short 1 second random activity to force a new sync. You have to delete that activity if you want a clean feed or to avoid sarcastic comments from your followers 😀
  3. Remove the connection to Strava and re-add it, then do step 2 to force a sync

@VikK

Thanks for your suggestions. It does seem to be working now, but ill keep this in mind should it happen again.

Steps 1&3 I did try.

It's great to have a supportive community with helpful tips. 🚴
