Last month I bought a Garmin Edge 520, second hand from a guy in Italy, and now I see all his activities appearing in my account under my name! All his rides are registered under my name in my account. Help!

Here is how:
- On the website: Strava.com > Navigate to your Settings and locate your 'Social Connections'
- Under 'Social Connections,' locate the Garmin connection and click 'Disconnect'
- On Garmin Connect > Navigate to the head icon profile photo (left-hand side) > Select 'Settings'
- Select Account Information > Scroll to bottom
- After you disconnect the accounts, go ahead and reconnect by following these instructions: Uploading from Garmin Device
The second possibility is that the wrong Garmin Connect account may have gotten linked to that device when it was first connected with Garmin Express. To check which Garmin Connect account is associated with that device, please follow Strava Support Garmin Data on Someone Else's Account
- Open Garmin Express.
- Select a device from the drop-down on the upper left.
- Click "Device" on the upper right.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for "Garmin Connect Account".
- Change account, if necessary
The last possibility (if you recently sold, purchased, or returned/received an old device), this device may still be connected to your account. Here are directions from Garmin in regards to remove or retire an old device: https://support.garmin.com
