Hello Strava Administrator, and Strava Athletes Alike,

Am I missing the obvious, or has the following topic been overlooked?  Strava awards accomplishments like KOM/QOM, and cups for Top 10 over segments.  Kudos!  But what about some new type of recognition for age-group leaders?  In virtually any real-life race or competition, age-group winners are also recognized in addition to the overall winners.  It seems like a no-brainer that Strava should do the same.  I know that subscribers get the age-group listing also, but a person has to look that up.  Why not award a virtual trophy of some kind as soon as the ride is uploaded to Strava so followers can see and acknowledge that accomplishment the same way it's done for KOM/QOM and Top 10?  People who get out there, and get out there and challenge themselves as they enter the upper age-groups should be recognized for that.  This seems too obvious to be overlooked by Strava.  Am I missing something?  If so please update me.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi,

I didnt see any replies other than being referred to another member's similar question.  Myself, and many people I ride with agree there should be age-group awards, just like in real-life competition.  I would like to know how Strava feels about this, and if this recognition for deserving older athletes will become part of Strava.  How do I get my own original email about this into the stream of emails, instead of being referred to a similar one?

Thank you,
