I import all of my activies from my Garmin watch but track all of my gear in Strava. My garmin does not accurately measure the distance of treadmill activies. In Garmin, I can just go update the activity’s distance, however since that activity has already been sent to Strava I can’t update the activity’s distance there. It’s really important to me to accurately know how many miles I’ve put in a pair of shoes, so I end up having to create a manual activity for the distance missed. This is a pretty workable workaround, however this makes my total activity count for the year inaccurately high because each treadmill workout is double counted. Although I’m sure I’m firing this idea into enhancement request oblivion, please please please just allow editing of distance on treadmill activities. PLEASE!

Hi @theluke13, there's a pending feature request that should be covering what you're asking for - you can vote for it here:

...and, if you want a bit more elegant workaround till the feature is implemented, you can use some 3rd party app that allows the editing. I’m using the RunGap iOS app to sync my activities to several platforms, and it also has an Edit option - so when necessary, I can correct an activity prior to importing it to Strava (I only need that rarely but it's not the primary reason why I’m using the app anyway). RunGap is a paid app though (several bucks a year) and only for iOS, so you might need yet another similar one. The bottom line is - this workaround isn't ideal and requires some manual effort, but at least the run is uploaded as a single activity.

You could check too if your Garmin Watch has the “Calibrate and Save” option besides the normal “Save” when ending the activity. With that you can alter the distance before it is uploaded.
