I tried installing/uninstalling the app multiple times, logging out and in but the run doesn’t show up on the app. It shows imported from the Health app but somehow doesn’t appear on the Activities page. Please help.

Success!😎

You>Settings>Manage apps and devices>Health and I found my workout there, not imported. Clicked the check box and it pulled through.

same thing here, can’t sync between the two. Perhaps a bug that will be fixed in a few days.

Same. Happened with one activity yesterday recorded on my Garmin Fenix 6. The activity doesn't show up in my personal activity feed or the main feed, but can be found if I search for it, and is visible to people I tagged in it. Activities recorded today are showing up as normal.

I’m having the same issue - also have tried importing and re-importing multiple times to no avail. Is this a new bug with Apple Watch and Strava?

Any movement on this? Having same issue where it shows a tick in the health settings but there is no upload  on the feed.

I am having the same issue. It is showing a checkmark, as if the activity has already been imported, but it doesn’t show up in my activities nor feed. I try to re-import it and it spins like it’s doing something, but nothing ever shows up. Reinstalled, logged out, logged in, restarted… nothing makes it show up.

Yep same thing!

Having this same issue. Checkmark showing as if activity has already been imported, but activity is nowhere to be found, and data (distance) is not included in my progress. Any more updates here? Does someone monitor this community? How do we get support?

I ended up downloading an app called GPX Export to export the run from Apple fitness and then import into Strava via desktop browser website (not Strava app.) Worked great! Luckily it only happened with one workout and I haven’t had to do it again.

This is not solved at all. The current “solution” solves nothing except for a novice who can barely open the app

Nope. I did a manual upload and added screenshot from my Apple Watch so a some of the info is there, but this is super frustrating!

Really wondering why I pay a subscription for zero subscriber support. I don’t really see any value, if they will not even hire staff to debug a known issue

I believe I have found a good workaround for this as there seems to be no patch coming from either Strava nor Apple.

  • I use the Apple Watch (Ultra 2) native Workout app for recording activities.
  • I then use (the free) GPX Route Exporter app (https://apps.apple.com/ch/app/gpx-route-exporter/id1487816558?l=en-GB), this works better for me as the GPX Export app recommended above doesn’t work with X-Country skiing activities.
  • I then manually upload the exported file into Strava.

Long way round but it works consistently. I have disconnected the synch between Apple Health and Strava as once uploaded in Strava the activity was showing duplicated in Apple Health.

Contemplating buying either Workoutdoors (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/workoutdoors/id1241909999) or HealthFit (https://apps.apple.com/ch/app/healthfit/id1202650514?l=en-GB) for an overall better Apple Watch experience.

Hope it helps!!

Santiago

I found this option hidden in the menu’s that helped me:

Strava → You → Settings (Cog Icon) → Manage Apps and Devices → Health → Import workout from watch from “Last workouts in the past 30 days”

Not automatic but better than nothing :)

I have had this same issue before - seems very random .  Thank you MooreL this worked this time.  Saw a bunch of walks that didn’t import either but I didn’t care about having them in Strava so I didn’t notice!

I am having the same problem. The same behaviour was shown for both the walks I completed over the last 2 days. They were shown on the Apple Ultra 2. When they didn't appear, I checked the Strava app and they were shown as unsynced. When i touched to sync no progress was shown just a black screen withe small “x” in the top left corner. Go back and check and there were no activities to sync. Neither walk has been recorded as an the activity on my profile. Same behaviour for two walks in last two days on new Apple Ultra 2 Watch

I think I figured out a solution…

within the Health app: Settings > Apps > Strava > “Turn On All” (or whichever ones you want to send to Strava.)

Then go check Strava App: Settings > Apps & Devices > Health - and you should now see workouts from the last 30 days… Import… boom
