When travelling, it takes hours to plan routes. What if there was a map that show only race routes, both pro and amateur level? Criterias such as year, mtb, road, enduro, dh i.e. would make it a bit easier to choose where to ride (or not).

Hi @Risto1984, when creating a new route in Strava (on desktop), there's a “Follow most popular” option that you might want to use.

You can also see the most frequently used paths via the Heatmaps layer on the map view, here's some details: https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918877-Strava-Metro-and-the-Global-Heatmap

And just a note: race routes aren't always the best for a visitor, as race organisers often arrange road closures, entry exceptions etc with the local authorities, and copying race routes outside of the race event might be unsafe and/or impossible.

Ciao, the issue is that very often also if "follow popular route" is ON the suggested result doesn't strictly follow the "heat" maybe for the lack of activities. I would appreciate a list of routes taken by verified athletes (ex: the local legend)
