I play hockey with my Garmin watch, using Sport 73, Subsport 91 (Ice Hockey). When the activity automatically transfers to Strava, it’s tagged as a workout, rather than ice skating.

Thanks for your post. We don’t currently have ice hockey as a supported activity type on Strava, and it’s not planned for the foreseeable future.
