Last month I was able to manually update my FTP but I tried yesterday and today and am unable to update. Every time I try it pulls up the subscribe page. Are free accounts now no longer able to manually update FTP, or is there a different path to do now? I tried both on my phone in the App and on the Website.

Unfortunately you can’t even backdate the FTP anymore in case you have a subscription again in the future, see
It seems Strava wants to prevent users from subscribing only now and again and seeing correct FTP related stats from the time without subscription.
+27You can’t access any FTP related statistics with the free account so updating the number wouldn’t have any effect. If it’s only for saving a history you have to do that outside of Strava.

That is a good point…. it’s just something I’ve always updated manually and was surprised that option disappeared. But you’re right, it serves no purpose with the free account. Thanks for the reply.

You can’t backdate it period. I am a paying subscriber and the ability to date an FTP change is GONE. So stupid removing critical features like that.
