Using my web browser, I could log in to my strava account on Friday 21 Feb. However, since Sunday 23 February, I have been unable to log in to my strava account. The log in page keeps refreshing when I click on the log in button, but doesn’t do anything. Please help.
Strange, the problem solved itself after I logged into this community hub. Very strange. Could it be a cache problem I wondered. Anyway, I can now access my strava account.
I can confirm this recent bug. Exact same thing happened to me. Could not log in on the Strava site. I came here, saw this post, created and account here using the same email as my main Strava account. Set it up and then went back to the main Strava account and I was now logged in there as well.
How do you create an account here? I just get an error 403. I can log in no problem on my iPhone app but haven’t been able to do so on my pc

You did that already, else you couldn’t have posted.
Thanks a lot Jan, you didn’t answer my question how do I log in to my Strava account on my pc all I get is error 403

Error 403 means “Forbidden” - insufficient access permissions, but may also be caused by cache. Delete cache/cookies of your browser on the PC and try again to see if it helped.

That wasn’t your question, you asked how to create an account. Maybe Jana could help you, another option would by trying another browser
Firefox browser here. It was the “Dark Reader” extension for me. After disabling it, I was able to log into my Strava account. So it could be an extension modifying Strava’s CSS in your case.

I made an account just to upvote your solution. This fixed my issue.
Same issue here, when I try to login to Strava it just refreshes the login page and never gets to the stage where it asks me to type my password. I’ve tried disabling all add-ins but it doesn’t make a difference for me.
Annoyingly it’s only happening on my new laptop - my old one is still signed in just fine (that’s where I’m writing this from), although I’m not going to take the risk of signing out on that to test if it will let me log back in just in case it doesn’t!

I also had this login issue. Couldn’t log in from my work PC in the work network, couldn’t login from my phone. But wait, when my work PC wasn’t on the corporate network it worked. And turning off VPN on my phone, that worked too. So looks like overeager security theater at play.
For sure lots of my colleagues use Strava, it’s not freaking abuse even though we all connect via the same corporate proxy! Same goes for VPN use, the P stands for Private, FFS. This looks like Strava doesn’t want their customers to visit their website. If there’s a real abuse issue, then own it and tell people, don’t hide it.

Well if you can't connect from your corporate network or vpn, it's not because Strava wouldn't allow those - but because your network/vpn admin is blocking it.

Reading comprehend much? I said I couldn’t log in, not that I couldn’t connect. Network/vpn admin blocks do not cause Strava to reject logins with “unknown error happened please try again later” and then immediately accept when connecting from elsewhere.
I recently was also getting a ‘ An unexpected error occurred. Please try again.’ message after entering my email, clicking log in, and entering the passcode
I’m using firefox, I’m in the uk and get the below accept/reject cookies etc message on the homepage

i found the issue appeared to be due to me clicking ‘reject’ on the above message
when i cleared the browser cache and clicked ‘i accept’, then it would sign in ok..
I am having problems logging on to website with Opera and Chrome. Sometimes I get the unexpected error message straight after putting my email, other times I get as far as my password. I tried the suggestion with accepting cookies but that did not help. And trying to log in to Community just worked once without getting the dreaded ‘unexpected error’ message. On some days I cannot get in at all, other days like today I get in on 2nd or 3rd attempt. Problem started not long after the option with code to email turned up. HelpCentre said it is a known issue they are working on. Was just wondering whether someone has found another way around this?
I too had an issue with my MacBook. I opened this forum and was able to initiate login and receive a one off code. However if I opened Mail on my MacBook I was unable to login using the code.
I repeated the above steps:
1) login to Strava
2) inserted my email
3) the code sent to your email sent (not Gmail)
2) received a code
3) opened mail on my iPhone and not my MacBook
4) inserted the code on my Macbook and it worked…...
