E-Bike segments same as analogue

I have an E-bike and a regular mountain bike and I would love to be able to compare performance on routes that I regularly ride, particularly down hills.  Why are the the segments different for E bikes and regular bikes?  It makes no sense. I’m not asking for the times to be lumped together in leader boards etc. they should still be accounted for separately.
