What do you think about an idea to suggest in the section of possible friends, people who often run on the same routes by checking used routes consistency, or often running same segments?
It can work the same for other activities in the same way.
This will let networking for people who live nearby to socialize in real live, to run or ride together, compete etc
That's an okay suggestion... for feature that needs a lot of work. Your idea makes more sense than their current process of suggesting "friends of friends". Some of those people are in a different continent! That being said, the major objection many of us have is that the process isn't voluntary. these complaints go back a decade or more.
I remember the forums of the mid-teens where we all kept begging for a choice, as ex-spouses and domestic abusers would show up as people we were expected to follow! This infuriated many of us. Strava leadership never acknowledged our concerns.
