Hello!

Thanks for stopping by! We’re almost halfway through 2024 and it’s great to see all the Community Hub members that have joined our community recently - we’re happy to have you here. June brings us many celebrations & sporting events; read below to find out some of the happenings this month....

All of June you can help us recognize Pride Month by joining our Sweat With Pride Challenge. This year, we’re shining a light on the LGBTQ+ women who inspire us with their courage, love, determination & leadership. You have all of June to join and complete this challenge. Once completed, you’ll add Strava’s most colorful badge to your trophy case and we hope you consider making a donation to the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

You can also add a LGBTQ+ inspired polyline to your activity map!

To add this polyline to your activity from your mobile device tap the ellipsis icon (the three dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the activity and select Edit Activity > Change Map Type. Choose the Pride map type to show your support!

In the cycling world; you can help celebrate World Bicycle Day on June 3 and join World Bicycle Relief's Pedal Strava Club and find out how they use bicycles to empower women and girls around the world.
Also in the cycling world, the Tour de France begins on June 29. Check out the Tour de France’s Strava Club page here for updates.

If running is more your thing, you can celebrate Global Running Day on June 5th with the Virtual NYRR Global Running Day 5K challenge. Join people around the world that share your passion for the sport anywhere, anytime between June 1 and June 9. And if you’re in Eugene, Oregon between June 21 - 30, you can check out the US Olympic Track & Field Trials to see some of the greatest track and field athletes in the United States compete.

These are just a few of the things happening this month. Post a comment and let us know what you're looking forward to this month.
