Hi, I am trying to get a sense of what's going on with an old friend who I am estranged from. Their strava profile is set to private but a search shows numbers of activities cycling / runs unchanged for the last six months. Does this definitely mean they no longer using strava. I guess I am a little worried as thewy have had health issues before and unsure if numbers always update.

The numbers you see represent activities the athlete has performed that have the activity privacy set to “everyone”. It is possible the athlete could’ve been performing more activities with their activity privacy set to “followers only” or “Only me”, so it is difficult to determine if this is the most up to date information or not strictly based on those numbers.
