When I finish a ride on strave and save , it adds double the mileage ie if I do a 40 mile ride and save it.then it will add 80 miles in my total for year. Any suggestions  anyone.

Are you sure you are only recording with one device?  Some people record with a bike computer (like a Garmin Edge) and also with their phone or something like that.  In those cases, a second device could be uploading a duplicate activity.

Yes i use elemnt bolt and strave.
