+1Today I was riding with a friend (both on e-bikes) same route and I have 4 segments missing? I have 6 segments showing to his 10 . Not sure how this can be? Is there anyway of getting these back to compare times etc.
p.s this isn't the first time this has happened

Could the segments be hidden? See https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918177-Hide-Unhide-Segments
Also, you might try and compare your and your friend's activities to check for possible GPS inaccuracies - those may be a reason why some segments won't match.
Plus, if any of the segments overlaps with your privacy zone, it won't be shown either.
