I know a lot of people have long bike commutes and want to share each commute.
However, I only bike 6km to work. Cluttering everyone's newsfeed with 2 short rides a day is annoying and I manually mute all my commute rides.

I think it would be fantastic if there was an option to set an activity (i.e. bike commute) as muted by default and for bike commute specifically to have a monthly summary on the last day of the month.
It could look like a normal activity, but say something like "Work commute, distance: 240km, time: ... and so on".

This keeps the newsfeed clean, but recognizes the effort put into even the small commutes that add up over the month.
