Hi, I understand my individual activities can be muted to all followers, but would it be possible to mute my activities from individual followers? For example, followers who run don’t necessarily want to see my cycling activities and vice versa. It would be good to have the facility to group followers.

Muting isn’t restricted to followers. It means that your activities don’t appear in the activity feeds for you, your followers and everyone else. What you describe sounds more like this idea you could vote for:
