Twice now, I have posted a comment on a friends activity. I’ll get a notification that they’ve liked it or replied and when I go back, I see that the comment has been changed and shortened. They aren’t long comments, just a couple of words, so I don’t see what benefit shortening them has? Also the really annoying thing is on both occasions, because they’ve been shortened you’ve removed the laughing emoji at the end - turning what was a humorous tongue in cheek comment (totally normally between friends) into a passive aggressive one. It’s really rubbish and the upshot is, I won’t comment on my friends activities now which is a shame - as the social side is Strava is one of my favourite features. Can you explain pls??

Hi @Emmagrace1986, I’ve noticed this happening too but very randomly (haven't found any pattern); however, in those situations it turned out that the comment only seemed shortened. When I’ve force-closed the app & opened it again, the comment was displaying correctly. Could you try this too? - Also, just to confirm: does the shortened version of your comment display only to you or also to others? (Perhaps when it happens again, ask the friend what they see.)

One way or another, it seems to be a bug though.
