Are you still having issues with your paddleboard activities showing on your profile page?

Hey there,

I’ve recorded Stand up paddle activity with my Apple Watch Ultra 2 however it didn’t sync with Strava at all. In AW the activity seems as paddling instead of stand up paddling and I think the discrepancy occurred because of this. Any solution?

Have you already attempted the Apple Watch force sync step?
 

To get your activity to sync, force quit the Strava app on your watch. Press and hold the side button until the shutdown screen appears, and then press and hold the digital crown until the app closes. You must be in the app to force it to close. Restart the Strava app on your watch and mobile device to find your synced activity.

Thanks for confirming the troubleshooting step didn’t work. 
One more step you can try is to re-import your activities recorded using the Workout app using the instructions below:

• Strava iOS App
• You Tab
• Settings top right (cog icon)
• Manage apps and devices
•  ❤️ Health
  • Your recent workouts from the Workout App will be located on this page

If this step above doesn’t work, you may have to manually upload your Paddle activities.

I believe ​@edwagnerjr2 issue was able to resolve itself because their device (Garmin) is capable of passing this specific activity type & data into Strava.

When it comes to your device (Apple Watch), I don’t believe it is possible for the Apple Watch to pass this specific activity type & data into Strava. If Apple Watch isn’t able to pass the specific activity type & data into Strava it will appear as “Workout” within Strava instead. In this case, you will have to manually update the activity type within Strava.

Happy to say that manual import worked. I had to change the activity name but i can see all the data right now.

Yes i was thinking the same thing. I assume it’s because of the different workout names. But anyway it’s solved.
