Ever since i started using a Wahoo kickr, all of my real world rides are uploaded twice, once under my own name, once as "Strave Athlete". Strava then automatically creates a group ride with both uploads showing exactly the same statistics. I now have to share my trophies with a non-excisting rider 😆
Anyone know what’s going on here?
Are you recording with the phone and the Wahoo? It sounds like when you connected the Wahoo to Strava, it created a new account instead of linking to your existing account. I would suggest submitting a support ticket to Strava to have them look into the Strava Athlete account and see if they can remove it. I am not familiar with the Wahoo system, but if you have an app to log into, check in the profile of that to see if there is anything saying what the Strava account is that it is linking to.
