Need Help — My Activities Were Mass Flagged Without Reason

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because someone has been harassing me on Strava by flagging several of my activities without any valid reason. It looks like a mass attack, since some of my friends were also flagged at the exact same time.

All our activities are 100% legitimate, and this seems to have been done just to harm our profiles. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to contact Strava support directly.

Can anyone please tell me how I can get in touch with Strava or report this situation properly? Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just an update — I’ve noticed that I can’t unflag my activities or resolve them on my own. When I try to appeal to Strava support, the request is automatically marked as “solved” even though no action is actually taken.

It’s really frustrating.

Any chance you have more tickets open? For some reason Strava only allows one open ticket at a time, and all other tickets get closed as duplicates.

You can check your tickets here: https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/requests

It's very unfair. I have five flagged activities. I'll have to go through this process five times, and the person who attacked me will go unpunished.

I wish Strava was more secure, but after this attack I realized that it is a very fragile system.

Definitely also report that user - if they’re abusing the system Strava needs to address that… and yes it's a painful process, I feel for you, fingers crossed that it's resolved soon.

Thanks @Jana_S
I suspect who did this, but I think only support can identify them. I reported someone who actually uploaded manipulated data (and I can prove it), and I assume this action was retaliation.

You can go in and add information to the support request that is still open. If you have multiple activities to have support look at, add links to those in a comment on the support request so they know to check more than just the initial one the report was for.  Make sure to add any context that may apply such as support for why it is legitimate.

thanks @anchskier I did it. Support helped me, and now all my activities are no longer flagged. Despite the attack, I won the challenge! And now my 249km in 5 days are all validated!
