Hello Strava team and users,
Strava being a fitness based app is used extensively in the military. Not exclusively, as many many others use it too but for the military it’s a great tool to help track and motivate our soldiers.
As some of you may know, we walk many miles carrying weight. It goes by many names I.e., tabbing, yomping, rucking and many more. However, it’s very simple and I’m sure many other people outside of the military do it too.
I believe this should be a workout feature we should have access too. Not only is the distance, pace, cadence etc etc tracked but the amount of weight carried should be inputted into the data, this will greatly change the amount of calories burned. But it’ll be such a useful tool for both military training and civilian.
