Power Average Incorrect For All Outdoor Rides.

Happy New Year, All.  As far back as 12/21/25, I identified all of my recent outdoor rides (with a power meter) are reporting in Strava (app & web) as 146w--identical on all of them.  My wahoo computer/Xert/TrainingPeaks/Wahoo app, etc. all report the same figures as the wahoo computer.

  1. Does anyone else have this issue?
  2. Does anyone know how to resolve it?

Thanks!

Did you make sure this is not by chance? Differences between Strava and Wahoo wouldn’t be unusual, especially if Wahoo is setup to not include coasting in the power average.

I appreciate the reply.

Yes--I haven't made any changes, and all other apps are reading the same watts as my computer.  In the Wahoo app, both selections for including zeros are toggled off (and always have been).  Also, it would be kind of difficult to hit 146w consistently on consecutive rides.

Thoughts?

Which power values were reported by the Wahoo device?

  1. On Strava, Weighted Avg. Power, Average and Max, which were both incorrect.
  2. On the device, Power, Avg Power, Avg. Power (30sec).  Sensors: Include zeros in average power OFF.

Sorry, I meant the numbers for the average power on Wahoo.

12.31--Device 170w; Strava 146w.

12.21--Device 177w; Strava 146w

12.20--Device 208w; Strava 186w

These differences can be explained by you having include zeros off, while Strava on the contrary always includes the zeros. That the same figures result three times in a row is not that unlikely.
