I have tried to report and resolve a flag on my 50k run Sep. 28 and no one has gotten back to me. I tried submitting a follow up ticket and they keep getting marked as resolved. I also deleted the activity and reuploaded it but it’s still flagged and doesn’t give me the option to remove it. Can someone please just remove it? Why is customer service so abysmal for Strava?

The support has had a big backlog of support request, leading to long wait times.  In the meantime, if you are able to post a link to the activity here, we might be able to take a quick look and see if there might be something in the activity itself that could be triggering the flag.  Sometimes it isn’t always obvious but there could be some anomaly in the file that could be fixed from you end to resolve it.

Thanks - the link is: https://www.strava.com/activities/15976398742

The only thing I am seeing in the file is a spot at about mile 18.5 where it appears you had some kind of GPS signal loss or something like that causing an odd pace and the tracking skipped from one point to another further ahead.  This could possibly be the issue, but not sure.  The activity overall looks good (congrats on a solid ultra by the way!).  Maybe try editing the file to a different activity type (change to a bike ride), save it, then edit it back to a run and see if that resolves the flag.  If not, you will probably have to wait for the support to get back to you unfortunately.

Thanks for the help @anchskier … Unfortunately, they’ve really locked options for this activity. Appreciate the help!

If they didn’t make their system so sensitive, they wouldn’t have such a backlog.

@Scout are you able to help resolve the issue for ticket #3591999?

There is another problem with this activity: It has an elapsed time of 175 hours and you couldn’t possibly do that many hours since yesterday. Maybe you can download the activity in the fit file format and correct it with the fit file tools https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/ctf#view

@Jan_Mantau I did notice that and was wondering why it was that time. My garmin doesn’t display that on the activity… I’ll check out the fit tools! Thanks!

Good catch @Jan_Mantau.  I totally missed that part.  If possible, you could see about cropping just a tiny bit off of the start or finish depending on where the extra time is showing up on the file.  This could help remove the time anomoly and resolve the flag.

@Jan_Mantau Thanks again for sharing the fit tools--looks like it fixed the weird time, but the activity is still flagged… Sawatch Ascent 50K | Run | Strava.

Thanks again both for the help!
