So I have the factory saddle that came on my bike when i bought it. It’s getting old, as am I. Lately on long rides, for me that is over 20 miles, I’ve felt sore in tail bone and taint (sorry ladies) area. I usually have to readjust my position on the seat and it reduces it a bit. I have a few questions for experienced riders.
- Would getting a split saddle help?
- Would adjusting the seat forward or back help? I’ve been playing with it a bit and raising my seat post and that has stopped my feet from going numb. But with raising the post the seat needs to go forward some.
Any advice anyone has or their experience with the same issue is greatly appreciated.
I ride a Giant Defy 2 from 2010. It’s a great bike for me.
