This is someone paying subscriber fees to advertise a hotel. I can’t see this ending well for users if our streams become filled with Instagram-like influencers and “curated athletes” pushing product. Strava of course needs revenue streams, and I accept the sponsored challenges as that mechanism. But this?
Strava needs to come down hard on it.
