Sharing my experience with Strava Support… TERRIBLE experience. 

 

I’ve been a user since 2019 and premium since 2020, 5 years of recording thousands of KM in multiple sports. Really enjoyed Strava to see all my data and help me improve - reason why I paid a yearly subscription. 

 

All of a sudden, someone steals my account (no idea how), changed my e-mail and password to his and deletes years of data… I regained access via Facebook but if you want to change the email back to you what happens? You need to provide the hacker’s passowrd - what a surprise! 

 

You would expect, as a PAID user, to have some sort of immediate support, being this urgent and having ALL your personal and payment details in hands of a hacker! 

 

It’s been 5 days, no one replies any ticket. The hacker is sending messages to my friends on Strava threatening to steal their accounts and guess what? Strava doesn’t care. 

 

Now, if I create another ticket for support, it’s immediately flagged as solved… why isn’t my 1st ticket being flagged as URGENT? Anyway, Strava just doesn't care. 

 

I lost a year subscription, paid less than a month ago. Lost 5 years of sports related data.

 

Strava lost a very loyal user and promoter… 

 

Sad to go, but Strava gave me no choice.
