Strava membership ID?

I’ve been part of a challenge from Samsung, and it requires the “Strava membership ID” in order to proceed with the reward redeeming.
Problem is that… the Strava ID of my account won’t work (Strava ID is invalid), yet is the only ID that I’m getting when going on my profile.

Is there another ID that is required here?
Can’t find any additional info on the Challenge page.

The only ID I’m aware of is the one in your profile URL - the 8 digits at the end instead of the 00000000:

Yup. But is still says that the Strava ID is invalid - for me is 7 digits.

Had to add a 0 before my ID. Now it worked. Thank you!

@Colinrbarton it seems that it has to be 8 digits, does it help if you add zero(es) in case that your ID is also shorter?

Jana_S you are right it is 8 characters, slightly ridiculous but now sorted

Any idea what do if the ID is 9 digits?

Thanks tot hoe that have already posted here but it’s still not working for me. My user ID is 6 digits, so I have tried 1x and 2x 0’s in front of that. Tried the URL with and without the https:// in front of it. Tried my “vanity” athlete ID. Nothing works. It’s good they are making it hard for folk to validate this - but only as long as I get in!! Any more suggestions please?

Tried on laptop instead of phone browser. 8 digit id (zeros in front) has worked. You don’t need the full profile url, just the 8 digits. I definitely tried and failed with that on my phone browser but I’m not sure it was properly refreshing the form when I changed the entry in the field.

@Slow_go I had a zero on the end of mine, which I removed to make it 8 characters. This worked for me and allowed me to verify

It sounds like whoever made the Samsung challenge has hardcoded it to only accept 8 digits… and at this point I suspect it will accept *any* existing Strava ID, not necessarily yours (as @Cro has successfully used an ID without the last digit...) I’m not saying go ahead and try, but...
