Subscription Not Working

I have a paid student subscription running to April 2026.  When I log in, it is showing me as unsubscribed, so can’t access the paid features.

 

I have tried creating strata support tickets, but they keep getting closed as Solved almost instantly.  There appears to be no other way to contact Strava so I am stuck.


Any ideas how I can get someone at Strava to investigate?

You can see your support requests on https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/requests. Creating additional requests won’t lead to anything, you can only have one open. The waiting time is usually quite long.

This problem often occurs if the Strava account you have paid for and the Strava account you use to sign in are not the same. If this is the case or if there are problems with the student verification or other things can only be guessed.

I'm having the same issue. and it charged me when i thought i had a free trial. This has been so frustrating nothing is working and still shows me as unsubscribed.

@EmmaLouH - Are you certain you didn’t accidentally create a second account?  I have known a number of people who thought they were logging into an existing account, but accidentally created a new account by mistake.  One way to check would be to search for your own name and see if you happen to see another entry for you.

@anchskier Yes, I’ve only ever had this account. The weird part is when i go to “start free trial” just to see if the transaction did not go through it says that i have a subscription. but it wont let me access anything that strava premium uses.

My husband attempted to re-subscribe via Apple - we have family sharing on Apple.  However, the primary apple id was associated with my strava so it didn’t activate properly.  Apple have refunded the subscription and he has successfully re-subscribed on the website directly.  After the refund, my account was unsubscribed though.  He was getting responses to his issue very quickly even on Xmas day.  I’ve had problems for this whole week and no responses.  I expect to get these lost days added back to my subscription when this gets fixed, but I have no idea if Strava are even looking at it.
