In the Android app there's an animation when i give kudos. How can I disabled them? They are annoying.

Was there a recent update to the Android app that puts animated graphics back in? Or is this a consequence of changing to a paid subscription? Wnen I save my ride, a big splashy swirl spins across the screen, nearly knocking me over. I’m going to have to check with my doctors about whether I’m developing epilepsy or something, but it would be nice to be able to TURN OFF ANIMATIONS!
