Unable to update Activity Type

Question

Hello,I have been updating my activities (changing the activity type from “Ride” to “Mountain Bike Ride”), but when I click Save, Strava does not update the activity.  I would estimate that this happens in 1/3 of the updates.After I change an activity I have to verify that the change was made.  Sometimes I have to edit an activity multiple times for the change to be saved.I have been having this issue for a long time (a year or more) so it is not related to the recent AWS outage.This issue occurs on both the app and web. Has anyone else had this problem?  Has anyone reported it to Strava?  Am I doing something wrong?

I openeda support ticket with Stava and even sent them a video of the issue, but they were unable to reproduce the issue. They closed the ticket, but I am still having the issue!The issue is that when I change the activity sport (e.g., Ride to Mountain Bike Ride), 1/3 of the time it does not update. I have had instances where I have to change a sport 3 times before it is finally updated.This occurs in both the browser and the app.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jan_Mantau. I tested your theory and waited 5 minutes after changing the activity type, but it still had the old value. I had to change it twice for the new value to take effect.
