Just as runners and cyclists can record and see trends in their run times lifters should be able to record PR’s in lifts. When logging a weightlifting workout there should be a PR section for common lifts (Bench, Deadlift, Squat) and leaderboards where your weight lifted is put on a leaderboard for your weight class. Max lifts would require an uploaded video showing the lift and if enough people in the community say it was a bad lift it doesn’t count.
