why can't I reply to people who comment on my activity and who I'm following?

Hi ​@MelVC, it sounds like a bug - just a few days ago my colleague was wondering why he couldn't tag me in the comments, only to find out that he could from a web browser, i.e. a bug in the Android app. 

I’ll ask the moderators from Strava if they could bring this up with the developers...

​@Bryant I’m having a similar problem the last couple of days where if I want to tag someone in an activity and type in the @ symbol, no contacts come up to select even if I enter the first letters of a name. Happens only in the Android app (I have a Google Pixel phone), but works on the website (not very convenient). I have the most recent version of the app v434.12 which updated 10/20/25. So the bug wasn’t fixed with this update. Any idea what is the status of a fix?
