I’ve been noticing some inconsistencies with the transparent share feature on Strava, even when using GPS.

I always record my runs using a Garmin watch, so all my activities have GPS data. But here’s what’s confusing:
• Sometimes, the transparent share option shows my route with the shoe icon (looks really nice).
• Other times, it only shows the route without the shoe icon, even though the run is recorded the same way.
• All these activities have GPS data, and I don’t manually edit them.

Why does this happen? Is it linked to the activity type, GPS details, or something else? How can I make sure the shoe icon option always appears when sharing transparently?

Hi @KelvinTham, I might be wrong but I thought that the transparent image is either with map or with the shoe icon (if there's no map, e.g. a treadmill run), not both. At least I’ve never seen a case with both. If you do, it might help if you post links to sample activities, maybe someone will be able to find the difference.
Edit to add: the shoe would also be displayed if the map is hidden (but then it's only the shoe, without the route outline).
