Click Save again.The reason one might want to be able to mute an activity, but have it be public is that private activities do not count for challenges…. but you don't want to annoy your friends by “cluttering up the feed” with shorter, less interesting activities.
To provide some background context, I am currently running a sports challenge that utilizes Strava Clubs to track participant's activities. For a particular club, it has accumulated a total of 1032 activities, and right now I am only able to extract 200 of these activities by using page=1 and per_page=200, however when I move over to page = 2 and per_page = 200, it gives me a random number of workouts (in this case 5 activities) and when I move on to page = 3 and per_page = 200, there are no more records. The pagination parameters appear to not work as intended.My concern here is that the activity data are missing and it impedes me from tabulating scores to then show the participants who contributed the most to their clubs.Here are some images provided to help fellow developers and gurus understand the code. I tried installing/uninstalling the app multiple times, logging out and in but the run doesn’t show up on the app. It shows imported from the Health app but somehow doesn’t appear on the Activities page. Please help.
I'm curious to know if this is a known issue, or if there is a resolution to an issue I have observed. In the heat map, I often see large "gaps" in sections that have been ridden. It would be useful if the sections were contiguous. In fact, for some longer tours (such as a cross country tour), the heat map line almost entirely disappears when I zoom out. Since a few weeks ago Strava is at it again with pushing "features" down your throat. Now among the notifications for an activity I have to read Strava's stupid "motivational" messages (you're doing great, keep at it, da da da). Anyone can help me get rid of those?
Please, Strava, stop with the new “Kudos on logging an activity” and “your activity is ready” BS notifications. Or let me turn off in the settings Strava system notifications. I only want notifications for when a follower comments on a ride or when they (another human) gives me a kudos. This has gotten way out of hand.
Any help greatly appreciated, first attempt at using the Strava API. I’m sure this is staring me in the face but i’ve run out of ideas.So I can successfully use Postman to GET https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete with an Authorization header of {Bearer nnxxnnnxxnnxx….}. The virtual segment Aple du Zwift doesn’t show the correct data. The distance of 12,17 km seems to be correct but the elevation (729m) and the grade (-0,8%) are totally wrong. At the moment, this is a downhill segment. 😄 But elevation should be around 1.000 meters and the grade is 8.5%. The elevation profile is also absolutely wrong.Who can fix this?
Strava is recoding my rides as e-bike rides automatically? I don't own an e-bike…. They say it's an automatic assumption and can’t be fixed? Really?
As a runner and mountain biker I often find new trails by reviewing friends activities. I will often look at their activity while I am out on my ride/run. I would like to be able to pull up their activity map, including their red line track, and tap a compass or similar icon to see where my current location is compared to their activity. Is this possible and I am missing it? If not consider this a feature request.
HelloThere appear to have been some updates to the route planning function with this excellent app. However now it is becoming extremely slow, “updating route” is all I see now, and it is now no longer possible to see my the heatmap with all my activities displayed while route planning. The function is now barely usable it is so slow. Please is there anyway that the route planning can return to how it was a few months ago? I am using Chrome and I have tried the route planning on two separate computers. Best regards Howard
Is it possible to change the order of challenges on the Android Strava app? I need to scroll all the way to the end of 2024 to see the current challenges.
I have had Strava for many years and the 10 year ago me can’t compete with current me. Please add a feature to allow the clearing of all past personal PRs or perhaps add a new category with annual PR. Garmin has this feature ON THE FREE ACCOUNT so it would make sense that Strava could at least do this on the paid account.
Is there anyway to separate my feed into separate groupings or tabs? I’d love to be able to have separate feeds for local friends, college friends, people I coach, etc.
HiI just want to know why all my Zwift indoor racers are not listed on all best efforts under ride. It is only showing outdoor cycling information. Most of my best efforts are coming from Zwift.Can there not be a droping down bar for indoor rides.Please helpThank you
As title states - im curious if there is a server to server pattern available for the strava api? I am using only my own feed and will be including it on a blog site i run. Webhook patterns, oauth2, etc.. all fine and well but id like to eschew the need to regularly click through the login process.Any options here (did I miss a page of the docs?) or am i going to build a headless browser task that just chews 1.5s of lambda cpu every few hours/days to walk through the UI pattern and update my token/keys in a dynamo table?
I made 3 "indoor rides" today with a couple of pauses using the STOP button on my Garmin Edge 530. It was saved after the third ride. The result in Garmin vs. Strava is: Obviously, in Strava the elapsed time is used in avg. speed calculation. This is a horrible bug. E.g. if concentrating exactly on avg. speed during an indoor cycling, the record is totally useless. Why the elapsed time is used in calculation instead of the moving time? It makes no sense.

Hey friends, I've been dying for an "all-time local legend" feature (i.e. number of attempts on a segment not just in the past 90 days). I'd really like to build it myself from the Strava API but I'm not sure I can extrapolate the data from what the API surfaces. I'm able to get the local legend data for a given segment, but nothing before the last 90 days. I'm wondering 2 things:- Am I missing an easy way to solve this problem?- If not, would the Strava engineering team every consider adding functionality to the API to fetch all time local legends? (Or even fetching local legends for a given time range).Any thoughts are welcome!
I have noticed on my API Settings page that there's a limit to the amount of users an app can have. I know (based on API access) that a large percentage of users installed my app, tried it out and never used it again. My question is then: how can I revoke access to these users?
I’ve recently created a new club and had two people join. I could immediately see their activities in the club feed, even though those activities existed before the creation of the club, and were unrelated to the club e.g. they weren’t club events or group activities done with club members. So for now I’ve disabled the club activity feed.Is there any way to set the privacy level for an activity to be club members and followers only? Or even choose which specific clubs it should appear in? Or alternatively, only show club group activities in the club feed?

I am in the process of integrating Strava into my application and have encountered an issue where manually added activities are successfully synced via the webhook, but GPS recorded activities are not syncing.

It seems that the Strava status page has been out of order for quite some time now. Is it under construction, or is a fix on the way..?I don't visit the page often but when I do, I appreciate the status information - to clearly see whether an issue is on my end or whether it's some hiccup on the server. With the lack of Uploads and Dashboard Latency information, it's hard to tell though.Thanks!
