When I try to tag someone in reply to my activities , the @ thing brings nothing up or if it does, then it very rarely it shows the name. I have been having this problem for the last one month or so. Quite frustrating...

+29Hard to tell. Strava fixes some bugs quickly, some take longer… good thing is that they are already aware. You can follow the thread I posted for updates, fingers crossed that it gets fixed soon. In the meantime, the workaround is to use the website (though it's not exactly convenient).
You mentioned above that you posted a thread about this. Can you provide a link to that thread?

+29Sorry I wouldn't know, I’m a user like yourself. Perhaps try checking in the thread I linked in the first response and subscribe for updates in there, as that's where it was originally reported & then escalated to Strava. Fingers crossed that it gets fixed soon.
