Can’t see my daughters stats on a certain segment

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Hi,

My daughters name does not appear on the leaderboard for a certain Segment. Is it because of her age? She can see on her run analysis that she has clocked a time on the segment but her name does not appear on the overall list.

Regards

Ivan

Hello @ivanlotter

Thanks for posting about this.  There's a couple of different reasons this might be happening.

First of all, have your daughter check the privacy settings on the activity.   In order to appear on public segment leaderboards, an  activity's privacy controls must be set to "Everyone".   This setting can be adjusted on an individual activity or for all new activities by default. The default setting does not retroactively change the privacy control on past activities.

Adjust an individual activity's privacy control:

These settings can be changed for an individual activity on the upload or edit screen:

  • Web: Go to the Activity > Edit (pencil icon) > Privacy Controls > Select Everyone*
  • iOS/Android: Go to the Activity > Edit > Privacy Controls > Select Everyone*

Secondly, your daughter should check her map visibility settings.  If a segment starts or ends within a hidden portion of an activity, that segment will not appear on public leaderboards.  Instructions for setting default map visibility preferences are here.

If the problem isn't solved by adjusting activity privacy, or map visibility settings, the next step would be for your daughter to submit a support ticket and we’ll be happy to take a look at to see what might be going on.

Thank you very much, that was precisely the problem. I can see her effort on the segment now.
