any chance you've overdone it a bit with comments/kudos? If you've triggered the antispam block, you might need to wait ~24 hrs for it to expire. 

Also, some interaction features may be limited for minors / users under 18 (not sure whether also this, but definitely e.g. direct messaging), so double check your birthdate settings.
