looked but could not find anythign on this but just got a CORE body temperature sensor. It pairs on my wahoo and comes up in the wahoo Element ride data app but does not show up on strava, any way to pair or make the data show up on strava data?

Unfortunately neither is possible, you can only see the data in the Wahoo companion app as you said and additionally in the Core app.
