disable memories from feed?

Question

How do I disable unrequested historical (i.e. out of sequence) runs from showing up in my feed? I was taken by surprise by this and found it confusing. My expectation as a user would be to have a “show fewer posts like this” choice next to the post, or a clear toggle in settings. This is distracting and makes me want to use the app less. I’m sure some people like this feature, but I imagine some may find it similarly distracting and antithetical to the way we use the app.

I would really like the option to turn this feature off. The post with the voting option is from 2 years ago. There are 4 pages of comments on it, with comments as recent as 1 month ago, majority saying they would like the option to turn off this feature. Do we know if Strava actually plans to act on clear user feedback such as this?

We don't, Strava isn't very open about their roadmap / upcoming features. I suppose they have their reasons, but tbh I’d personally appreciate more communication too, especially on those ideas with 3-digits vote count… - Well, fingers crossed that all this feedback is taken into consideration, and that we’ll see some improvement on this (you’re certainly not alone unhappy with the lack of communication).
