I'm a premium subscriber. It's weird to me that I can only see Total time, distance and current speed on the dashboard while recording. Is it possible to show other live metrics like Avg and max speeds, and heart rate and stuff?

@MarthaL Unfortunately the recording features of the Strava app are stuck since 20 years and it doesn’t seem Strava plans to update this in the near future. You should consider using another app for recording activities, there are many with more live stats available that will upload the activities to Strava afterwards. You could use the Wahoo app for example, how to connect it to Strava is explained in https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/220633087-Wahoo-Fitness-and-Strava

Bumping this, surely average speed data during a ride is possible?

This is unfortunate. The main reason I like to pay for premium is that the recording feature also gives me a live map that helps me not to get lost. I don't really want to record with something else simultaneously. Or invest in something else if I'm paying for premium. Seems like a simple request, disappointed to know it's not on the radar.
