Emtb ride -> analog segments

I have the same problem today. I ride an e-bike. I saved the ride as an e-bike ride, but the segments are displayed as a bike. The problem is obviously on the Strava side.

You have to create the ebike segments first, they are completely separate from bike segments. In case you still see bike segments after changing the activity type to ebike that’s only an update delay, after some time it won’t show the bike segments anymore.

The usual update delay seems to be quite long though, in my test activity it still shows ride segments 10 minutes after changing the activity to ebike. I will monitor that further.

I’m having the same problem today, hoping Strava will fix this, it’s messing up personal stats and the segment leaderboards.

Same issue here. I can even change my activity to walk and still get MTB segments. My emtb activity was 6 hours ago. 

Ebike segments are there. In my local trails most of segments has separate analog and ebike version. Usually they change when ride is changed to eride, sometimes don’t.

I edited my last nights eride now, over 12 hours later, and segments were fixed. Changed to ride and back to eride, no fix. Changed to run and back to eride, fixed. Sayd something like your activity seems to be in wrong sport. Anyway, my earlier activities with same problem are not fixed... 

I have created segments for e-bikes, but Strava still assigned the ride to segments for regular bikes.

I came to the same conclusion, a run switched to a ride still shows the running segments 12 hours after the modification. It seems to be a general problem independent on the ride-to-ebike change. The moderators are notified.

Today's ride is saved correctly. Today I saved yesterday's ride on the bike, then again on the e-bike and the segments were corrected.

Two days after I have changed two test activities to another activity type the segment efforts are now repopulated with the matching type. That was quite the delay.
