It’s interesting to see the Best Efforts in an athlete’s profile, however, in some cases the data is corrupted by inclusion of flagged Activities.  For example, here’s some data for an athlete in my local area which shows some rather impressive Best Efforts, such as cycling for 5 miles at 126 mph (!!)…

If I click on the links to see the related Activity it shows they have all been flagged (hardly surprising).  Surely Activities that have been flagged in this way should not continue to be included in an athlete’s Best Efforts ?

Hey @Ian11,

The Flagged activities should be excluded from your best efforts.

Have you tried recalculating your profile stats?

How to recalculate your profile statistics:

To recalculate your profile statistics please access your account on the Strava website using a computer. On your profile page, scroll down to My Stats where underneath you will be able to click "Refresh Stats". After clicking 'Refresh Stats' the button may appear greyed out, this means the system is refreshing.

Possible Profile Statistic Discrepancies:

  • The displayed total may have previously been inaccurate due to a previous bug where deleted, cropped, or updated activities did not refresh the profile stats.

@Bryant It’s not about @Ian11 stats but about stats of other athletes.

Hey @Jan_Mantau & @Ian11,

Thank you for clarifying.

In this case, it’s the athlete within the screenshot that is responsible for refreshing their profile stats.
