Hi ​@davewyman - sorry this sounds a bit confusing, would you post links to the segment and rides in question?

You say “my segment shows as their entire ride” and at the same time "Their ride shows they started from my house ... which Strava has supposedly hidden on my account” - which would mean that when you ride the segment yourself, part of the segment would be hidden on your ride, meaning it wouldn't count for the leaderboards / KOM for you. Or have I misunderstood your description?

Also - if you suspect that their ride wasn't legitimate, you can flag their activity from the Strava website (the option isn't in the mobile app). That would remove the activity from the leaderboard. 

This sounds like a situation I ran across a few years ago.  There was a strava account that posted rides that were exact matches to a friend’s ride, right up to the start and finish locations.  The only difference was the date it was tagged with and the time was slightly faster.  Apparently, someone was pulling up their activities, copying the .gpx data from their ride, editing it using one of many easily available editors, and then posting as their own activity.  I was able to flag the activity to get that down right away, but I also submitted a support ticket to Strava to report the account and it was ultimately removed by the admins.  

Yes, my segment, which was 7.1 miles, and began at my house. My ride went farther than 7.1 miles, with several other segments. 
 

The entire ride of the two cyclists was a copy of my 7.1 mile segment. Their ride stopped where my segment ended. That’s because they didn’t make that ride. Instead, my segment is their supposed entire ride. 
 

Look up this segment: Bluejay Way to To of Appian. Click on the all time leaders. You’ll see two people tied for the KOM, followed by me. Click on the either of their names. You’ll see that their entire ride is the same as my segment, starting at my home. If you look at all their segments, you’ll note they are number one and number two on each one of them, which is obviously false 
 

One of the two has photos from their ride. Those aren’t photos of the ride, they’re from someplace else. 

Hi, Anchskier. Your reply seems potentially to be the right answer. Delving further into this matter, I think both accounts have been created by one person, and that person isn’t either of the people pictured and profiled on their accounts. I suspect whoever is stealing rides and segments is doing so to help scam Strava members, presumably into fake romantic attachments and out of their money.

I did notify Strava support. I see that there’s no change, Ava Rose Thompson and Sophia He still have my KOM, and still appear to have appropriated segments from other riders.

​@davewyman - You are going to have to post a link to that segment.  The way the Strava segment search feature works, there is not way it will find it just with a name.  If you post the link directly to that segment, I can look at it more specifically and see if it looks like what I was seeing before.  

As far as reporting it to Strava, keep in mind that it will take a while (think at least a couple weeks) before they will be able to get to it and possibly longer if there are multiple steps they need to do to investigate the account(s).  It isn’t something that you will see a resolution to right away, but hopefully it will ultimately get resolved in time as a result of the report.

Let it be known that male and female leaderboards are separate and it's possible to have two best times, but looking at the speed data (and lack of other data) it certainly looks suspicious. At the very least it is questionable GPS
