Is there still no way to export existing segments into GPX files? The only thing I could think of was creating my own route, but you can't seem to do that from existing segments. If I manually choose a start and end point, it doesn't accurately follow the trail. Thanks for any input!

You are correct as currently there isn't a way to export existing segments into GPX files. I recommend bringing this idea to the Ideas section of the Community Hub.
Lastly, another workaround you can try is exporting someone else's route that includes the segment you would like to perform, then possibly shorten the route.
