is there a way to group multiple rides with say a tag, so that you can view the totals as well as the individual data/statistics?

Hey there, thanks for your question. We have matched activities for subscribers, but this only applies if you trace the same route multiple times. It doesn't show the combined totals of them, but it does offer a great way to benchmark your performance over time.
We do have an existing idea that suggests Grouping activities, like you're inquiring about in our Ideas board, here.
